RIDING IN THE PARADE:

THOSE WISHING TO ROLE THEIR VEHICLES WITH THE PARADE SHOULD START GATHERING AT 8:30 AM ON MONACO BLVD (GOLF COURSE SIDE) FACING SUNLAND GIN ROAD.

PARADE START TIME:

THE PARADE WILL ROLL OUT AT 9:00 AM HEADED NORTH ON SUNLAND GIN RD MAKING A LEFT ONTO WEST CONCORDIA DRIVE, CONTINUE 1 BLOCK, MAKING A LEFT ONTO S LAREDO DR TO SANTA CRUZ, MAKING A LEFT AND TURNING RIGHT BY THE SHERIFF'S DEPT SUBSTATION BACK TO SUNLAND GIN ROAD. FROM THERE, PROCEEDING TO THE REAR PARKING LOT OF THE ARIZONA CITY FIRE DISTRICT.

CEREMONY:

A SALUTE TO OUR FLAG, RECITING OF THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND A MEMORIAL PRAYER BY OUR CHAPLAIN, PASTOR DAVE LYNCH

CAR SHOW AND TROPHY PRESENTATIONS:

THE FINAL EVENT WILL BE PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES TO THE WINNERS OF THE CAR SHOW. description:WE KNOW THE WEATHER WILL START HEATING UP BY THAT TIME. WE ANTICIPATE BEING COMPLETELY DONE BY 10:00 AM AND EVERYONE ON THEIR WAY HOME TO ENJOY MEMORIAL DAY IN THEIR TRADITIONAL WAYS, KNOWING THEY'VE TAKEN TIME OUT TO REMEBER OUR LOST HEROES!

This parade will have multiple parts to it!

Staging will take place behind our Arizona City Fire District Fire Truck on Monaco Blvd pointing to Sunland Gin Road.

The parade will travel north on Sunland Gin Rd and ending in the area of Concordia Drive. From that point, cars in the show will proceed to return to the Arizona City Fire District Parking lot for a "rest" refreshments and trophy/prize presentations.

To enter for trophies and prizes, the cars must pay a fee of $20.00 and ride in the parade. Show cars and bikes competing will continue to the parking lot behind the Arizona City Fire District for awards, refreshments and fellowship. As in two prior years, we know the weather will be extremely hot by that time and we should be dispersing in less that 45 minutes.

THE OBJECTIVE: 

A THIRD ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY PARADE FOR OUR COMMUNITY WORKING AS A TEAM. RAISE LAST MINUTE FUNDS FOR THE FIRE DISTRICT'S WATER DAYS SUMMER EVENTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY'S CHILDREN! SPECTATORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING WATER DONATIONS THAT ARE CRITICALLY NEEDED FOR THIS WONDERFUL SUMMER PROGRAM!

Due to the dropout of the commercial sponsors for another car show, the prize money touted by others, not members, on our posts with their names prior has been withdrawn. All Parties that preregistered, changing their minds have requested a refund and received it.  Others chose to continue to help support our community effort!
